HOWTO: Delete peaks

Sometimes we find irregularities, or “peaks” in our data that are the result of incorrect values sent by meters. These irregularities can throw off our data analysis and cause inaccurate conclusions. DEXCell Energy Manager gives us the option to delete readings so our data analysis remains accurate.

To delete a readings, log in to the DEXCell Energy Manager with as a SuperAdmin user.

In order to delete a peak, follow these steps:
  1. Go to "Settings" menu and go to "Gateways"
  2. Click on "Delete Readings" tab
  3. Then, select the device which you detect a wrong value and select its corresponding dates. You can use a condition to filter more the searching
  4. Select the wrong readings and click on "Delete"
  5. Now, the peak has not to appear.
  6. If not, go to Parameters > Calculated Parameters and try to recalculate the corresponding calculated parameter
